ReplyDeleteVery interesting. During my school days (high school) (1967-69) I am aware of" Pi"s value upto 3 or 4 digits only. In Kerala it is taught as 3.14, 3.142 (approximately 22/7 is also used sometimes)

ReplyDeleteabout 60 years ago i was taught that Pi was 22/7 and that was the real deal. now its gone all crazy with the decimals and the 3.141592653589793238463643383279502...... BTW my name is Lu Chao
